“Pop” Mounger Swimming Pool, Seattle WA

Waterjet cut steel gates for public swimming pool featuring a water motif. At the center of each elliptical ripple is a 2-1/2” diameter nickel-plated steel hemisphere representing a rain drop or pebble hitting the surface of the pool. In addition to gates, the project includes five steel and concrete benches and a pair of porcelain enamel signs designating the boys and girls locker rooms. These signs are from original linoleum block prints (by Reiquam) depicting boys and girls swimming.
